Is LUMA open to individuals from institutions outside of the United States?

Yes! LUMA currently has members in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Do you collaborate with other organizations?

Yes, we have held workshops in collaboration with the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity and Movement Consulting. If you (or your organization) would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch!

I’m not an astronomer. Can I still join LUMA?

Yes! LUMA is open to students and researchers in astronomy, physics, and planetary science (including earth sciences).

I’m an undergraduate student. Can I join LUMA?

LUMA currently serves graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and research scientists at the moment. Please take a look at our resources for undergraduates under the Resources tab.

Where is LUMA based?

Anywhere and everywhere! LUMA's programs are all online.

I have an internship/job/opportunity I’d like to advertise. May I send that information to LUMA?
